How the trial works

Sign yourself up as a member. Sign in with your email. You'll get a 6-digit code by email; there's no password.
Go through the member checklist below, as a family would: book, pay, receive passes.
Send feedback as you go with the form at the bottom. Small things matter too: confusing wording, slow pages, anything that made you hesitate.
When you feel ready, tell Abdulmaaliq and say which you'd like to try: the door (checking people in) or the committee pages. Your access is upgraded on the same account, and the matching checklist below unlocks.

Test payment details

Use only these test details. Do not change them, and do not use your own card or M-Pesa number.The trial checkout only accepts Paystack's test details. A real card or phone number will be declined or the payment will not complete, so the test will not work. Nothing is ever charged during the trial.

At checkout you'll see Paystack's page, marked Test. Choose Card and enter:

If Paystack's test page shows its own instructions, follow those. Prices for Quran & Family, Sat 21 Nov: KES 1,000 per adult, KES 600 per child aged 6 to 10, free for under-6s. Booking closes Thu 19 Nov, 11:59 pm.

On your phone, open Door and pick a desk
Tap Start camera and scan a pass shown on another phone
Use Also admit to check in the rest of that family at your desk
Scan the same pass again: it should say Already used
Scan a sister's pass at the men's desk: it should say Not this desk
Use No pass? Find by phone to admit someone without their pass: type the number they booked or paid with
Press Print wristband and save it as a PDFTick "Background graphics" in the print window
Turn on airplane mode, scan someone in, then turn it off: it should upload on its ownOpen the Door page once with internet first

Step 2 · committee access

As a committee member

Unlocks when you have committee (admin) access. Ask Abdulmaaliq once you're comfortable with the member side.

Overview: do the hall numbers and caterer counts make sense?
Payments: tap a payer to see who is in their booking, and find the M-Pesa receipt or card
Download both Excel files and open them
Request a refund on a test booking, with a reasonA super admin approves or rejects it
Check-ins: see who was admitted, when, at which desk and by whom, and any wristbands still to print
Q&A: open questions, open the imam's screen on another device, approve and show a question, then close
Events and Check-in & seating: look through them, but please don't change prices or delete anything

Your ticks are saved on this phone only. The door list works best with two phones: one showing a pass, one scanning it.
